Shimmering Stars is a Vancouver 4-piece that plays dreamy, harmony-laden pop. The low production quality gives their singles a distant quality, as if you were overhearing a band practice next door. The album cover reminds me way too much of this straight-to-dvd cinematic gem, which by the way, is amazing and awful at the same time. Knowing the Vancouver-based psychedelic rock band though, the album should be considerably more amazing than awful.

Abbotsford new-wave band You Say Party! We Say Die!, whom have recently suffered the loss of friend and drummer Devon Clifford due to a brain hemorrhage, have released their first public statement regarding the future of the band.
