NEW VIDEO : James Blake - "The Wilhelm Scream"

I have a confession to make. I once listened to UK DJ James Blake's cover of Feist's "Limit to Your Love" 16 times in a row. It's fair to say that I'm enthralled by his voice and restrained but pulsating style.

Blake has just released his self-titled debut full-length after a string of heralded EPs and singles. One of the only downsides about my extended vacation abroad is not being able to get my hands on a lot of new music, like this one. I've been addicted to this beautiful cover of Feist's "Limit to Your Love" by James Blake, a British producer whom frankly I knew nothing about. For the past week, I would open my browser, click on the link to the track and listen to it once or twice before carrying on in whatever work I'm doing. It's chill, it's moody, it's got a shoulder-dipping bass beat. And now there's a video to accompany it, which is below.

Cultural Olympiad in Vancouver - Stars, K'Naan, Veda Hille, and more

No matter what your opinion is regarding the Olympics itself, its effect on its host cities and the inhabitants, its tendency to plunge cities into decades-long debt, or its direct and indirect victims in terms of budget re-allocations... all those heated opinions aside, the Cultural Olympiad of 2010 is bringing some of the best acts in Canada into Vancouver and the international spotlight.
